To anyone interested in Nancy Spungeon, which they should be because she was truly fascinating, I suggest the memoir of her life and problematic early childhood written by her mother. It’s called “And I Don’t Want to Live this Life”. She was a brilliantly smart girl with a good family, plagued by mental illness. It’s a very good read, though pretty heavy.
